Customer Activation Requests
Thank you for using our online process for activating your account at Paint Brush Hills Metropolitan District (PBHMD).
For activation, we require two documents.**
1. A document that legally allows us to change the name on the account such as a Warranty Deed or Signed Lease/Rental Agreement.
2. A New Owner Agreement or New Tenant Agreement. Download, complete and submit the appropriate form listed below based on your request.

*A DEPOSIT AND TRANSFER FEE WILL BE REQUIRED FOR NEW ACCOUNTS. OWNERS RENTING WILL BE REQUIRED TO KEEP THIS DEPOSIT ON THEIR ACCOUNT.
Who is requesting activation;
Send a completed 'Property Utility Settlement Form'. (Please use our form if possible) The district will complete and return with the settlement information.

After closing, please send us the 'Warranty Deed; completed 'New Owner Agreement, and check(s) as noted on Settlement form.
Please submit the 'New Owner Agreement'. You can also submit the 'Warranty Deed' if you have already closed. The title company should also reach out to us.
Send us your Property Management Agreement. Your tenants will need to complete and sign the 'New Tenant Agreement' and send us the 'Lease Agreement' via the renter instructions below.
Please complete and return the 'New Tenant Agreement' along with your signed 'Lease/Rental Agreement.' The dates of requested activation must match the dates on the signed 'Lease/Rental Agreement'.
Billing information - PBHMD Rates average bill normally around $72.50 or less if usage is below 5,000 gallons. Visit https://www.pbhmd.org/fees-rates-penalties-charges to review our different tiers.
Other utility providers you will need to contact:
· Woodmen Hills is the Wastewater treatment facility, (719)495-2500.
· MVEA is the electric company, (800)388-9881.
· Black Hills Energy is the gas provider, (888) 890-5554.
· There are several Trash collectors in our area so we recommend asking the neighbors if you do not have a preference.
